I had breakfast this week with a very senior comms person, who’s based in Europe.
He asked me what the current trends were in the UK agency landscape.
As a member of the PRCA Council, I’ve been thinking about this a lot this year – and I think we have a very defining 12 months coming up.
Digital debate? – yup, ongoing
Integration debate? – never ending
Specialism debate? – interesting
Talent debate? – for sure
Creation debate – love it
Agency land has been somewhat quiet of late (bar the obvious new business wins, losses, staff moves etc), but after a thumping Summer (temperature wise), I’m hopeful agency bosses and Boards have been planning big time, to coincide with an energy you can feel.
There’s no doubt – things are busier – but it’s about making the right decisions … now.
